Avoid triangulation at all costs
People have been asking me to post the pop culture definition of triangulation for some time now so here it goes.
The definition of triangulation isn't a literal geometrical triangle. It refers to any time one person is dating another person and some one else or multiple people at the same time. This "dating chain usually extends to more than just three people". Say you are in love with this guy/girl and keep going out with him/her.... but he/she is always busy. So in the mean time you go out with a few other people just to stay sane or keep from being bored. One of these other guys/girls you go out with starts to be really into you but he doesn't know you totally fell for someone else so you keep stringing him/her allong... Well let me be the one to break it to you honey... you just triangulated.
Ok now it starts to get tricky. Little do you know but your crush also has a crush.... but its not you! Its some other guy/girl that he/she thinks is to die for! BUT, he/she isn't that into him/her... So this guy/girl just goes out with you every now and then when he/she has free time or got blown off... Guess what? You have also been triangulated honey!
Here is another example. Boy/Girl A has a boyfriend/girlfriend named boy /girl B. Boy/Girl B goes out of town for business a lot... Boy/Girl A gets bored or lonely and decides to start seeing boy/girl C and D. Boy/Girl A is a classic triangulator.

LOL.......Never thought about it this way or have I heard it put that way but ain't that the truth ;) I think I've been involved in one of these quite a few times......and I've been in all positions of it. I just may be involved in one now......or maybe a couple......LOL
